Modernist goldtone oval pendant with matte navy enamel and white cabochon rhinestone with raised goldtone squares on a chain necklace with spring ring. Marked "NAPIER©" on the back of the pendant. The pendant with the bale measures: 3 1/2 inches long by 2 1/2 inches wide. Condition: Very good; a few tiny spots of something shiny on the enamel. An identical necklace is shown on pg. 477 of Melinda L. Lewis & Henry Swen's book, "The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry." Dates to 1973.
