1980s rhodium plated prong set round clear rhinestones in the shape of pointed ellipse drops bib necklace with box clasp. Marked "ALEXIS © KIRK" on a cartouche on the back at the top of the center drop. Measures: 10 3/8 inches long by 8 inches wide. The center drop section measures: 3 7/8 inches long. The interior circumference is about 16 inches. Condition: Very good; one rhinestone is darkening, but it's not very noticeable. The necklace comes with its original jewelry pouch. The matching clip earrings are also available.

Alexis Kirk was an American jewelry and fashion designer. He studied art at Harvard and the Rhode Island School of Design. His first jewelry collection in 1970 won him a Coty’s American Fashion Critics award. His jewelry drew inspiration from cultures from around the world and incorporated unusual materials. He also won a Dallas fashion award in 1988. Some of his clients included Cher, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush and the Duchess of Windsor.
