1949-50 goldtone openwork with curls leaf with clear round, square and oval rhinestones brooch with security clasp. Marked crown "TRIFARI PAT. PEND." on a square cartouche on the back. Measures: 2 1/2 inches by 1 5/16 inches wide. Condition: Very good; some discoloration to goldtone throughout. The design patent (#157,520) for the matching earrings was filed by Alfred Philippe in 1949 and granted in 1950.
