1965 goldtone "daughter" bonnet brooch with security clasp. Marked "NAPIER©" on the back. Measures: 1 13/16 inches long by 1 1/16 inches wide. Excellent condition. The brooch was featured in a 1965 advertisement and is shown on pg. 418 of Melinda L. Lewis & Henry Swen's book, "The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry." Originally this brooch retailed for $4.50 which would be about $47 today.
