Rhodium plated 2 chain round openwork rampant lion with griffins pendant necklace with spring ring clasp. Marked "NAPIER©." Pendant: 2 3/8 inches across. Chain doubled is 7 inches long. Interior circumference is about 17 3/8 inches. Condition: Very good; a bit of wear to the spring ring so that it looks a bit goldtone in places. An identical necklace was featured in a 1971 advertisement. A goldtone version of this necklace is shown on pg. 457 of Melinda L. Lewis & Henry Swen's book, "The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry."
