1980s black resin "coral" collar necklace on a twisted cord with rhodium plated box clasp. Marked "U. CORREANI MADE IN ITALY" on the back of the box clasp. Measures: 8 inches long by 7 inches wide. Interior circumference is about 17 3/4 inches. Condition: Very good; minor wear if any.
 
Ugo Correani was an Italian fashion jewelry designer who created fashion jewelry from 1973 until he died in 1992. He created jewelry for some of Europe’s most prestigious fashion houses including Chanel, Versace, Valentino, Chloé, and Christian Lacroix. There is not a lot of his jewelry on the market, and it is highly collectible.
