1970s or 1980s matte goldtone round domed "caged" white cabochon rhinestone clip earrings. Marked "U.C. Ugo Correani" on cartouches on the backs of both earrings. Measure: 1 9/16 inches across. Condition: Very good; minor wear to goldtone on fronts and some wear to parts on the back. 
 
Ugo Correani was an Italian fashion jewelry designer who created fashion jewelry from 1973 until he died in 1992. He created jewelry for some of Europe’s most prestigious fashion houses included Chanel, Versace, Valentino, Chloé, and Christian Lacroix. There is not a lot of his jewelry on the market, and it is highly collectible.
